Coffee again! This time though, rather than concentrating on the good stuff inside, it's the cup that caught my eye. The "I am not paper" on the side got me intrigued and when I jumped online to find out a little more, I found a whole vortex of colourful wonders! No trees, no plastic, no toxic ink. This cup is purely made out of plant pulp. That's wheat stems, corn stalks, cane, potato starches, sustainable fast growing plant alternatives and all things "off cut". Mine is currently outside, sitting in a pot of dirt covered in food scraps and coffee. Excited to follow its breaking down process.

So many great steps had been taken towards the use of reusable cups... and then along came social distancing and "strictly contactless" activity. While sad to have to watch the number of disposable cups grow again, it's exciting to see the technologies, ideas and the drive to make them as good for the planet as possible. While no advocate for disposable... if it's needed, there's always a better way to do it #plasticfree & #fullycompostable - @iamnot.paper
