Epic Arts Café is a wonderful café in its own right, but as soon as you step in the door you know there's much more happening here than just tasty snacks and drinks.

The menu is an example of inclusive design, comprising of a tick-sheet format in both English & Khmer along with icons and some basic Cambodian Sign Language (DDP) prompts so you can better communicate with the team of mostly deaf staff.

Wander upstairs after your meal and you'll find a gift shop, stocked with handmade items and artwork by participants in the arts programmes.

Both the café and the "Creations Shop" contribute 100% of profits to the Epic Arts charity, enabling a sustainable funding route for their Inclusive Arts Course and Special Education Project.

With a belief in a society where every person counts, Epic Arts "use the arts as a form of expression and empowerment to bring people with and without disabilities together" and promote this message through inclusive education, community and social enterprise programmes.
