Carlton North, Melbourne

What a lovely surprise from a fellow (think) enough-er! ❤️ With the skies getting brighter and the days getting longer it's time for a little drink outside with a friend and yesss, chocolate to go with it.

Now, here is a seriously GOOD Negroni! Good because of it's tasty-ness and good because it comes straight from @siblingcafe . Have you heard of Sibling? It's a lovely friendly not-for-profit cafe on Nicholson Street in Carlton north. On a weekend the front doors are wide open, dogs and their humans stand outside sipping coffee from their @iamnot.paper cups. Great sandwiches, treats and a great selection of groceries these days too. They have a whole online shop which is where these delicious Negronis come from.

Along with all of this, Sibling staff work alongside and provide capacity building training to a wonderful team of volunteers. Volunteers who come from all walks of life, many of them facing social exclusion and barriers to employment. The focus of the whole cafe is social inclusion and the impact they have is incredible!

More than half of the volunteer team live with one or more challenging circumstances such as mental health issues, long term unemployment, social isolation, homelessness,
disability and other complex needs.

The sense of community and skill sharing in this place is fantastic!
