Took a little morning detour to this wonderful environmentally innovative social enterprise cafe in Preston. The glass panel sitting between us and the lovely barista has a big red message:

We are paper-cup free :)

3️⃣ Keep an upcycled jar... a gift from us to you

And @moonrabbitmelbourne doesn't stop there! They have a BYO-container-loyalty-card so that taking away lunch in your own container 9 times gives you that 10th meal free. A table out front displays their Bulk Foods Collective products where you can shop avoiding all that unnecessary packaging. They're also making natural cleaner with citrus scraps from the kitchen.

Along with the string of environmental initiatives (many more listed on their website!) Moon Rabbit offers work-placement opportunities to learners with additional needs who go through Bridge Darebin's award-winning work-readiness program.
